Sønderjysk Agricultural Show attracts many people interested in animals and agricultural machinery to Aabenraa at the end of May – in 2026, the show will take place on May 22rd and 23th. There is also a children's livestock show and fun activities for kids.
At Jacob Michelsens Gård, the old baking oven is fired up four weekends a year. Here, the museum’s volunteers bake bread and cakes the traditional way, and entry is free. The museum offers a vivid insight into Sønderjysk rural life more than 100 years ago, with historic buildings, tools and rotating exhibitions.

Aabenraa Streetfood Festival in the Nørreport neighbour hood from April 29th - May 2nd and again from September 2.- 5. 2026. There will be music, concerts, and entertainment with free admission every day.
